    Arsenal v Spuds 01/09/2019

Spuds are there for the taking. Emery better not fk this one up. Leave Xhaka out. Play Chambers with Torierra Laca, Auba, Pepe up front. Lets meet fire with fire. The Spuds are a brutish lot. No wimps pls.

Cant believe its a NLD weekend and no one has stated an OMT
    Make 2mrw better than 2day

Can see it being a patchy and ugly game. Think both of us haven’t started great.

Seeing as we’re at home though, I’ll go for a 2-1 win.

Think we will win and they will score with the compulsory Kane Penalty.

If Emery does a Wenger and picks shit players, I can see us losing this one. If he picks the best team we can pick to start, then we have a chance to win.
Arsene Wenger, the only football manager that got paid 8 million quid to do nothing but sit on his arse..

I don’t even think Emery knows what his best team is tbh.

Our play is so stop start with no identity. Hard to see what he’s trying to achieve.

Pretty much most people’s first choice midfield and attack, I would imagine.

Although I’m wondering whether Emery might go with Guendouzi over Willock for this one (I can see Torreira having to spend a lot of time covering fullbacks with Kola and AMN in the side, so he might want one of the other CMs to stay camped in front of the CBs)?

Hope we finally get to see PAL, but I worry that Nketiah going out on loan might make Emery think twice about playing all 3 of our forwards in every game, with no one rested as cover? Hopefully we’ll still see it in important games like this one though...

I think that Guendouzi has done well enough so far for me to to be too dismayed were he included.....but I'd rather not see the diamond stuff we saw at Liverpool (though I actually got what he was trying to do in that game).

It wouldn't be too popular and he absolutely won't do it, but if he played Torreira, Ceballos, Ozil I wouldn't be unhappy neither.

Your last point is one of the reasons I thought it was a shame to lose Iwobi.

Don’t want Ozil anywhere near the team for these kind of games tbh.

Agree, we've got better and harder-working players now
