The defence is woeful but there needs to be better protection from midfield. It's just Torreira on his own most of the time.

The player really killing us though is Pepe. We have no idea how to use him and it's bloody obvious he has no idea how he fits into this (shall we be kind and call it a) system. Back to goal, loses the ball 50% of the time, low energy, zero defensive capabilities and the odd moment of brilliance. If we can afford to carry that then good for us. We must be in great shape.

Kolasinac is dead now.
The gypos really aren't that great. Weak defensively, I mean obviously not compared to us, but in general. If we can get in at 0-2 and somehow come up with a game plan to exploit those weaknesses, you never know. But surely we should have done that before the game kicked off?
