I watched him play and I think he's average. He looks good on the ball. But he doesn't do much in the final third. Plus it's not a long term proposition, these silly loan deals. Better to let an Arsenal kid come through the ranks, if you ask me.

Für eure Sicherheit
Villa have bid 20m for Martinez.
His stock probably won’t be higher than it is now. Tempting...
except i still think he's better on the ball and taking balls from crosses than Leno
i'd be really sorry to lose him now, we should start him in the PL from Saturday and if he keeps his place sell Leno in the summer if we have to
looks like Holding's staying put after all

NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
I'd be sorry to lose him too, but either way we're still left with a really, really strong keeper.
Could come down to how much we can sell him for vs how much a replacement would cost (assuming Macey isn't ready to be 2nd choice)? Not much point in selling him for £15m if a new keeper ended up costing us £10m - lot of unnecessary hassle just to walk away with £5m...
