There is no way to legitimately end the season now. It's just not possible. Too much time has passed.
Let's say we can start football again tomorrow with crowds and everything - which absolutely cannot happen, but let's pretend.
Players like Kane who was going to miss the end of the season may well now be available, so that inherently has the potential to affect results.
That would be the closest we could get to finishing the season legitimately and clearly isn't going to happen.
All the other ideas which have been mooted are varying degrees of crazy.
The season cannot be completed with any integrity, so this whole project restart is nonsense.
It's a good point.
The PL clubs do like money.
Money can be exchanged for goods and services.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
I don't know why they're still talking about this (well I do but that's not a good reason), people can barely leave their house right now and they're talking about restarting a season noone cares about, with 45 minute halves, games at neutral venues behind closed doors. How ridiculous.
It was a woeful season before it got prematurely ended, let's not restart the nightmare especially given what's going on, follow the French and Dutch and cancel it.
Apparently if the league games already played were reduced to 60 minutes as per current restart proposal and all goals scored after the 60th minute no longer counted, Liverpool & City would be level on points as it stands.
