Pretty much nobody is social distancing in my town. Which was the case in the supermarkets anyway, from day one. But now it has extended to the street. The only place people are distancing is in organised queues. There was a queue of around 50 people outside Waitrose today. I didn't know there were than many rich people in my town. There was no queue at B&M. No people washing trolleys. Just stick your quid in, get your trolley, walk in and have at it. I didn't spot a single dead person inside, although I skipped the gardening section so I suppose they could have put all the bodies there.

This government has no credibility remaining. This has been the biggest fuck-up in the history of Britain. These people have spectacularly demonstrated they are incapable of leading during times of crisis. And the utterly incompetent "expert" bastards they have been relying on to do their job for them are discredited tenfold.
Not that the average Joe in the street will see it that way because he's too brainwashed. But if you still have a spark in your brain, this farce should be compelling.
And that's not to say the opposition have come out of it with any credit. Those poor bastards are currently campaigning to keep everything locked down and fucked until somebody can guarantee nobody will ever die again.
This has been embarrassing. For all of us.

We don't need a government and we don't need experts. That has just been demonstrated in the most emphatic fashion.
What we need is real science to be reinstated and accountable people at the local level to manage specific duties at our behest. Nothing more. Anything more, as you have seen, results in fuck-ups of epic proportions.
Government is good for nothing. It doesn't work.
