Would this be an acceptable compromise for the mask Nazis? If we must have anti-scientific sheeplike behaviour, is there any room (even an hour a day) for sane people to participate in the world? Not much to ask surely?

You need the BBC to confirm it for you? They won't. It's not in their interests or part of their agenda.

Why don't you prove the guy is wrong, using scientific methods? That's how it used to be done.
