Edit: was reading about autopsies and the implication that death rates attributed to covid have dropped since routine autopsy was required again
This is interesting. From the lancet no less

It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
Appears now the government is changing its advice back to working at home again.
I think most will accept that during a pandemic, u turns will need to be made but over the last week, the message from the government seems to be that the public are at fault for going out to much.
This is from a government who encouraged us to go to work, eat out to help out etc. If the government just came out and said, thanks for your efforts, its no ones fault but we may have opened up a bit early so we need to slow that down. I think they’d get a lot of credit. This whole, the public are to blame when the messaging has been appalling is just nonsense
Along the same lines as the video LDG posted but here's the cases (top) and deaths stats in the UK.
Where's the piles of bodies in the streets? Is it the way testing is being done differently? Covid does feel different and I've heard anecdotally of young people who while not hospitalised are having long term symptoms.
So...I don't know what to make of all this to be honest. There's so much claim and counter claim.
You used to be everything to me
Now you're tired of fighting
The plan to have fans returning to games is off ....

I agree with this "it will infuriate sports governing bodies that insist it is much safer for fans to be in highly regulated, socially-distanced often open-air venues and stadia than watching on the TV in pubs for instance. "
The government is killing the country for a virus that's hardly killing anyone

Sounds like Boris is going to make "an announcement" today. We could be close to proper civil unrest if he tells us to "lock down".
Sir Keir
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
btw the 10pm closing time is a recipe for anarchy - basically everyone will come spilling out from the pubs and want to carry on partying, causing widespread ASB incidents - good plan
