I haven't had time to deal with all that ramble although I'll have a look when I've got time.
I've dealt with the assertion about the test not working.
Much of the rest of your argument is based on that premise and the fact that "they" know it doesn't work.
If you don't understand the way the 90% figure is a distortion of the reality despite my explanation then I don't know how to help you.

It's okay, I won't be needing your help, or help from the Huffington Post. I'm just going to read books, if that's okay. What I've discovered is if you learn the fundamentals first, then you can dig through all the political trash online and unearth useful information such as real quotations and peer reviewed studies. I figured doing it the other way around would lead to an embarrassing misunderstanding of even the most basics of basics. I'd look utterly ridiculous if I did it that way, and I'd be too uninformed to even know it.

Where is the flaw in the logic?

You test people who are symptomatic and therefore fairly likely to have the virus then false positives are not going to have a huge impact on the overall accuracy.

You test people at an airport who are asymptomatic (otherwise they wouldn't have been able to fly) and may well have had a recent negative test before they flew and therefore are extremely unlikely to have the virus then false positives have a big impact.

It's in the context of the second scenario in which Raab gives the figure you mention.

Finally, I guess the question you mentioned was this one?
