I've changed my mind a few times on this. It is hard to compare between countries.
Sweden don't have anything like the population density we do. They have a different culture.
And they haven't done nothing, they have put some measures in place, they just didn't do lockdown.
And their deaths per million tally is much worse than nearby countries so one could argue they paid a price for that.
BUT...it still amounts to fewer than 6000 deaths in a country of 10 million people. And while cases are increasing now, they're not having a significant number of deaths, so it is looking like they've got this right.
COVID doesn't like warmth right? adn seeing as i think Sweden is one of those places where people use a sauna most days, maybe that's that's got something to do with it...? though i don't have a graph or youtube video to back it up, sorry
For a mere £80 a pop, you can now get a 20 minute Covid test at Heathrow Airport. Whether it's an actual test or if it works, I don't know. Remember when Ryanair used to get shit for charging an extra tenner? Do you need the test at both sides?
Is that VAT inclusive I wonder?

Lineker in M&S Barnes on Sunday night.
As the great man has said, “Wearing masks, of all things, is the most obvious thing we can do to help decrease the spread of the virus, and the smallest of all the sacrifices. No brainer.”

MrsL and me had lunch with the in-laws today.
It's mild, fortunately, so we ate outside at a pub bench, far closer together than we would have been at a table inside.
But at least we were outside, so we won't all die. Phew!
