So from the briefings overnight, we are going back into a tier system where shops will reopen, gyms & golf courses etc will be back but restaurants will struggle as will pubs. You can only see one household outside and no indoor mixing.

I can live with that as it least there is a bit more to do rather than being stuck inside the whole time but it does beg the question, what the fuck did the last month achieve if afterwards we are still not allowed to see people and barely able to do much else?

let's face it people will just socialise pretty much as normal but businesses will continue to be hit because they will get in trouble if they don't stick to the rules

Great work by all these companies on the various vaccines. Historically, failure rates during the research stage with new vaccines runs at around 93%, but it looks like success rate has been 100% for these particular vaccines. Superb work, and all achieved 7 to 10 times more rapidly than usual.

i understand and sympathise with your cynicism (in this case) but there is presumably some kind of explanation, in that they will really have thrown the kitchen sink at this in terms of the best people and facilities so that could be part of the reason - i still won't be at the front of the queue though...

I'm also glad the drug companies will be exempt from legal and financial consequences should, in the unlikely event, anyone gets harmed by these miracle cures. And now it seems GPs will also enjoy the same protections and will get paid to administer the vaccine. So taxpayers pay the drug companies and then they pay again to GPs. This seals it for me. Where do I sign up? And here's my wallet.

Contrary to prevailing assumptions (including those of a former Food and Drug Administration commissioner), none of the vaccine trials are designed to detect a significant reduction in hospital admissions, admission to intensive care, or death. Rather than studying severe disease, these mega-trials all set a primary endpoint of symptomatic covid-19 of essentially any severity: a laboratory positive result plus mild symptoms such as cough and fever count as outcome events. You have to ask yourself, why?

Why would I get a vaccine (let alone a rushed one) against something that has very little chance of harming me?

I've spent the last 3 months trying my best to catch the virus (if I didn't already have it in March) to develop my own vaccine produced by my well functioning immune system. I think I was successful a few days after being in contact with some guys who tested positive (though the tests aren't reliable at all) I did fall ill... for a day. If that was covid, it really wasn't that bad. If that was covid and I fully recovered in less than 24hrs why should I have to pump this shit into me just to resume my pre-2020 life?

DC just voted to allow 11 yr olds to give consent to be vaccinated, without parental knowledge. This ties in with the leftist idea of dropping the voting age so children who have never worked can influence issues that affect working adults. And slowly that age of consent will fall and slowly the range of issues covered will increase, until the left gets to its ultimate goal - the sexual age of consent. These are vile creatures with vile intentions.
