Get some clippers off amazon for 20 quid
I went four months without cutting it and it got far too long. Figured ordering clippers now means it wont look so bad by the time we are allowed out in April
Saved hundreds of quid buying a £40 set of clippers and then DIY. #1 skin doesn't require expertise. Just keep shaving.
Saved endless hours of avoiding time with barbers who like to chat.
Clippers are the third best thing I ever bought.

I always look after my beard myself but no chance I’m touching my head. My hair is stupidly wavy and thick, I wouldn’t know where to start.
You set the clippers to the minimum setting and keep on pulling it over your head. All the while enjoying the incredible savings in waiting time and cost. Sure, you have no hair at the end of it. But that's a good thing, right? No hair solves so many social problems. You never have a bad hair day and nobody will ever speak to you. To be honest I had a number one all over a couple years ago for a laugh and it was quite nice not having to bother with it for a couple months.
To be honest, sometimes I'm lazy and just let it grow and there's so much grey I look 100 years older. And I let the beard grow, just to make it better. I end up looking like some hobo. Then the wife says no and I get the clippers out.
