I don't think anyone can criticise any more. Not after the whole Covid fiasco and the 2 weeks to flatten the curve bullshit story line. It has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that many millions of people are just as suggestible and dumb as anyone rushing to the outside of a pub to have a beer in the snow, or queuing up to spend money on tat they could sensibly be tucking aside for a very, very rainy day. These seem minor transgressions compared to the whole Covid religion.

The latest data from Scotland, teased out by FOI request, is very much in line with what has been found by the Italian study and the CDC. Mortality rate for potentially Covid infected patients with zero underlying conditions is around 6% of the total, similar to CDC though lower than the rough 12.5% determined by the Italians. This includes positive results from fake tests, so the numbers could be even lower. Of the obviously absurd 120K trumpeted by the drug pushers, maybe somewhere between 7,000 and 14,000 is more realistic. Still significant, of course, but roughly in line with a flu season. All the elderly murdered in the care homes helped bump up the stats, and the total failure to estimate, let alone measure, deaths caused by the lockdown along with routine respiratory illnesses would easily account for the total we've seen to date. Of course we'll never know for sure because everything has just been lumped on the Covid pile and no significant analysis (for allegedly one of the most significant health emergencies in a century) has been performed.

No, it means the Covid flock are dumber than an Apple fan boy on phone launch day in South Korea (a condition previously thought impossible). Before Covid we thought we'd seen the limit of dumb, standing in a line outside Ikea. But no, a whole new level of dumb was just around the corner.

    Is it dumb, though?

    It's free.
It's probably going to be needed if you want to travel (you can argue about whether it should be, but that seems to be how it's going to be).
It might even be needed if you want certain jobs or, say, go into a pub (the latter I'd suggest will never be enforced, the former may be).
It's perceived as part of what gets us back to "normality".

So unless people think this is going to harm them then there's no real downside in having it.

    Fascinating article.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...led-virus.html

A limited hangout the day after information was legally forced out of the Scottish government. They're giving you back 23% of deaths - just like that. After a year long scare campaign with artificially inflated death tolls rolling across the screen. They are still lying, of course. But now, with certainty, you can confirm all those "facts" used to support the lockdowns and the draconian legislation were garbage. The "scientists" - you know, the ones who rolled out their spreadsheets and powerpoints at pressers - were either incapable of analysing data, or corrupt. Incompetent or bent. Either way, how did such unsuitable individuals manage to gain so much power?

In time, proper scientists and doctors will have to go through all the data and come out with the proper numbers, or at least an estimation based on actual science and medical protocol. I guess that will happen years or decades down the line when the guilty parties have made bank with the ill-gotten proceeds or fat taxpayer funded retirement pots.

What a scandal. I's doubtful anything touches it in all of human history.

I think that's a premature posting. Aren't you meant to post that next week? Check your list.

There's also this constant drumbeat for the "third wave" and now we hear talk of the "fourth wave."

But... the holy vaccine? If we're going to have a third and fourth wave which, let me take a wild guess, will occur seasonally just like any respiratory disease spike, won't the holy vaccine mean the majority is protected, especially those in the vulnerable groups? So we won't need more lockdowns and restrictions, will we?

Because, just like any respiratory disease, there will be a fifth wave, and a sixth, and wave #100, 200, 300 as time progresses. Just like flu, just like pneumonia, etc. We aren't going to fuck up the whole country every time, are we? We won't be going around in masks and social distancing for the rest of our lives, will we? That would be insane and it's highly unlikely insane people are in charge, you would hope.

Besides, wouldn't carrying on with this Covid lark interfere with the coming climate restrictions and lockdowns?
