All of the government support is short-term and in some cases just kicking the can down the road.

They said they'd 'ban' evictions but they've just extended the notice period, meaning homelessness will skyrocket in a few months' time

juat as many businesses will go to the wall because Sunak put the banks at the front of the system, who immediately tried to screw businesses for everything they can get

And they've left out people with ltd cos on dividends and many others besides, because all the Old Etonians in government haven't ever had a proper job and for all their capitalist mantra don't really understand what it takes to build a successful business

As for Labour, Corbyn still thinks workers all march in unison through the factory gates singing socialist anthems

We need to see what happens with Deutsche Bank. That bank was insolvent and its trillions in debt were being held back by string and sticky tape. When it went we were going to see the same levels of global economic collapse regardless of Coronavirus. If Deutsche Bank somehow comes out of this in good shape then we'll know exactly what the stimulus is all about. Either way, the banks have just had another monster bailout demonstrating they are too big to fail even when the economy has actually failed. They should have been let fail, globally, so we might have a real chance of a stable economy out there in the future.

To be fair, as much as ORANGE MAN BAD, I don't think there's much he could have done about this one.

This is sadly typical of the anti-western left. They are supposed to be FOR the working man and the downtrodden, but so many of them have prayed (even on live TV) for an economic crash so it would hurt Trump. These champions stand ready to let other people pay whatever price is necessary.

EDIT: I'm not accusing anyone here of doing that btw - I get GW humour as well as the next guy - but there's an army of cunts out there, army of them advertising their hate on Twatter, who are beside themselves with glee that people are dying, that economies are crashing, that people will eventually starve or freeze to death.
