Yeah, same shit. But figuring out why Spain was so badly hit is important.

Indeed. But so much more informative listening to this guy than politicians and bureaucrat health chiefs. Fair dues to Channel 4 for airing a useful segment.

I actually think he has a point. We all know footballers are greedy tossers and now we can see just how non-essential they really are. But it *is* their money and we did hand it to them. More fool us. And if the clubs can continue to keep paying them then it's none of our business really. But, as you pointed out, when the clubs start screwing over the non-playing staff, like Levy has done, that's when the problems start. So on principle I agree with Rose, but in practise why hasn't he laid into Levy? And wasn't Levy a case of football "speaking" and saying the most tone deaf things?

Of more interest to me is the 1% who supposedly own 42% of the planet's wealth. Some of these people have chipped in in minor ways. I don't include banksters postponing their bonuses btw, because that's not their money. It's stolen money. Let's have some media focus on the 1% - like that will ever happen.

Day 2 of no beer or whisky.

We got some bread but I'm pretty sure you need the original grains to make alcohol. By the time it is bread it's too late. So fat help that is.

You are "allowed" to go out. Just stay away from people. That's always good advice anyway.

"his first task will be to lead Labour's response to the coronavirus emergency, and he has been invited to take part in cross-party talks with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the government's top scientific advisers next week, to "work together" on the crisis."

Classic example of the only form of intelligence Jonhson has, i.e. low cunning

Get Starmer involved so he can share the blame for what goes wrong, or equally if Starmer says no, if he then criticises what the government's doing Johnson can say "well we offered to you to be involved..."
