I genuinely don't see how this level of lockdown can be sustained. Whole industries are going to simultaneously go bankrupt. I can't even begin to imagine how you pick up the pieces of that sort of thing.

You are probably right but if they are following the medical and science, it will continue.

It's only the economic reasons that it would be lifted.

It'd just be good to know if this is going to be ongoing for another three weeks, whatever consequences that might fall.

Yay - the media has a scalp. They've managed to get the senior health advisor in Scotland booted and now they are going through the very necessary step of wondering if she was sacked quickly enough.

Meanwhile they are giving us as good as fuck all information on this virus. Number of cases, number of dead, number of tests, speculation on when we might be let out and that about it. Fuck all else.

What about some investigative journalism? Or how about some meaningful information about the economy as opposed to wanking over the unemployment figures? Useless, counterproductive, fear-mongering trash.

It takes Chinese news sources (who run the risk of abduction or worse) to give us a glimpse at what the communist regime is up to. Our media runs zero risk, or is that not the case? Maybe they are quiet for financial reasons? A bit like the finally and deservedly discredited WHO.

So, from what I have been able to gather from Chinese news sources broadcasting in English.

Over 50,000 urns distributed to citizens of Wuhan. And many are complaining bitterly about mass cremations so the ashes in the urns may not even be their deceased relatives.

CCP acquired almost a quarter of a billion medical masks from all around the world while they knew the virus was at large and before they warned anyone else about it. Now they are SELLING those masks back to various nations and claiming it is humanitarian aid.

CCP owned corporations in the west and Australia were tasked with obtaining and stockpiling as much medical equipment as they could lay their hands on, again before telling anyone about the outbreak.

CCP propaganda operation in full swing to try to claim the disease was brought to China by the US and that the reinfections are due to foreigners travelling to China.

The chief medical offer at the WHO was given a 100 million dollar grant from the Gates Foundation. Gates is a lunatic who has conducted untold numbers of human trials in non-regulated nations in Africa and S America. May have died or been seriously impacted. Gates is also heavily invested in many of the companies that stand to profit the most from this pandemic.

Several nations have now refused to accept or sent back CCP medical supplies because they are faulty, designed to give false positives or actually infected.

Approx 10,000 "wet" (meaning blood) markets in China are open again. No new regulations have been put in place.

Also:

Several scientists now say this virus is fully airborne.
Senior health officials in the States now stating the WHO advice not use masks is wrong (who would have guessed it) and masks or other face coverings should be used.
The first cases of humans infecting animals have been revealed. This is huge news with massive implications. Can a normal virus even do that?

Because it's just him, isn't it you idiots? He's making all the masks, he's treating every patient, he's doing all the meetings, he's passing all the laws, he's doing all of it. So I ask again, how can he keep doing all that if he's sick?

Bear in mind, the government and corporations are going to end up with their long yearned for global DNA database after this has wound out. Ah, some different news. It is now estimates one third of CV19 deaths will occur outside hospital. Good to know. We've come a long way from the flu.

Why has this information being dripped out over time rather than provided up so people can make plans? We're being treated like children, or cattle.

Only old people with existing conditions will be at risk. By which I mean (2 months later) everyone is at risk.
It can't be caught from parcels or bags. Except when it can.
It can't survive in the air so we don't need masks. Except for the times when it can survive for up to 3 hours in the air. In which case we do need masks.
Public gatherings are safe, except when they are deadly.

The first major SARs outbreak was in 2003, handled properly by a not yet fully corrupted WHO. So if this is also SARs, why don't we know a hell of a lot more about it and how to contain and treat it?

Although one useful things came out of this propaganda piece. Apparently the CCP has finally passed a law to ban the trade and consumption of wild animals. Let's see if that is true.
