Joe Biden might have just given the police officer in the murder trial of George Floyd grounds for a retrial if he is found guilty.

Biden said today that the evidence is overwhelming and he prays the jury makes the right decision.


Quite frankly, thats an incredibly stupid thing for a president to say during a trial. I suspect lawyers will be preparing to argue that the president influenced the jury and probably with good reason.

In the UK, yes. I understood (though maybe incorrectly) that in the US they get put up in a hotel and are kept isolated.

The judge hasn't sequestered the jury. And because this is a blue state, none of those jurors will be protected if they reach the wrong verdict. Sounds like you missed what that throwback Maxine Waters said yesterday. Biden's nonsense is just the latest in a string of loony interventions calculated to sway and intimidate the jury. It's the way the left works now and has been for a while.

Probably right, they usually are during the verdict IIRC. But prior to that, they've had full access to all the horrible shit that has been going on. They will be under absolutely no illusions where they stand.

As for Biden being in touch with the family to support them through this difficult time (once they get home from spending their millions at the shops), he's come a long was since his KKK dinner dates.
