Whitehouse to declassify all Russiagate FBI files. Not sure if the scandal can be any worse than it already is, maybe there will be something useful in there. The main problem is none of the perps involved have been prosecuted, bar a single fall guy lawyer. Regular people would be in jail for far less. Clinton, Comey, Obama are all still walking around free. It's a crooked system for sure.

This made me giggle, in a petty way.

    Elon Musk is a prick
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Just finished reading a book on how Trump cheats at golf.

It’s very amusing. Many celebrities & Pro Golfers all have stories of watching him hit his drive into the water or trees but then his caddy magically finding the ball right in the middle of the fairway

My favourite part was when a member of one his clubs was playing with him, and hit his shot about 6 feet away from the hole. Trump’s shot was 30 feet away so Trump just said he would play the other members ball as he preferred it.

What is the point of just continuously cheating?

Trump has some serious psychological stuff going on.
He clearly has a narcissistic personality disorder. Just have a look at this, Trump ticks pretty much every box:
    https://www.helpguide.org/articles/m...y-disorder.htm

We've seen that play out over the last couple of months. To quote from the above article:

Since reality doesn’t support their grandiose view of themselves, narcissists live in a fantasy world propped up by distortion, self-deception, and magical thinking. They spin self-glorifying fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, attractiveness, and ideal love that make them feel special and in control. These fantasies protect them from feelings of inner emptiness and shame, so facts and opinions that contradict them are ignored or rationalized away. Anything that threatens to burst the fantasy bubble is met with extreme defensiveness and even rage
Pretty much exactly what we've seen from Trump over the last couple of months (and the last 4 years in general really).
In Trump's fantasy world he knows more about <subject> than anyone - you see him use that sort of rhetoric over and over.
In his own little world he's the best at everything, so of course he can't have lost an election. Just not possible. So of course in his head it has to have been stolen from him. Witness how he laps up anything which he thinks confirms his world view.
And we've all seen the "defensiveness and rage" on Twitter at anyone or anything which contradicts that - often railing against people or TV networks who he previously lauded. But now they aren't crazy enough to go along with his bullshit so he lashes out at them.

I guess with golf it's the same. He has to win. We all want to win of course but most people want to do so fairly, otherwise it's all a bit meaningless. But he doesn't care about that, in his mind the only thing that's important is he can believe himself to be a winner. I actually don't think he knows what the truth is a lot of the times. You often hear him say something and add "everyone's saying it", or "they're saying that <false statement>". It's just really bizarre behavour.

What's more bizarre is how many of his supporters lap it all up no matter how demonstrably false the things he says are. It's almost cult-like the grip he has over them.

That’s pretty much what the book said. Hes just a pathological liar.

There are other stories in there where there is a club championship at one his courses but he’s playing at a different one. He then rings up the club to find out who won & what score and then claims he shot better at his other course so really he wins. The club go along with it as he pays the bills but still, just why bother
