No, I’d say he’s pretty ready to go right now, but we’re clearly going after a second, more expensive midfield addition, so I’d just be surprised if he started ahead of whoever that ends up being and Partey.
He’s well ahead of where most 21 year olds are, though - been Anderlecht’s captain for the last year or so, and he was on the standby list for Belgium at the Euros, who are the no.1 ranked national side in the world. Glowing recommendations from Henry and Vincent Kompany.
