Expected win but the main thing for me is that we looked a threat all game and racked up more goals.
Norwich away next followed by Wolves at home, so more of the same and we will be in a healthy position. Then it’s City on New Year’s Day…
The turnovers from defence to attack are so fast now! The keeper gets it, it goes forward. The defenders win it, it goes forward. The midfielders win it, it goes forward. The forwards win it, they’re running straight at goal. Night and day from last year.
Ødegaard and Martinelli adding credible goal threat really has unlocked our attack - now we have 4 forwards on the pitch at any given time that defenders have to keep an eye on instead of just 1 or 2 who you can double-up on while you leave the ‘passers’ in non-threatening areas, aiming at no one.
Yes, it's much more dynamic and much more goal threat.
have to say though that it's been more luck than Arteta's judgement, if Auba hadn't got on the wrong side of him he'd probably still be largely ignoring Martinelli
[ed:] and that's on top of his only introducing ESR and Saka when he had no choice

it does alot with Arteta - Smith Rowe only played when we were short. Martinelli only played when we were short.
we did make some really good signings in the summer though. amazing what a quality keeper and right back can add to the side. excellent age profile of the team as well.
even Xhaka passsed a ball forward yesterday. downside is i think we lack depth really... i am waiting for our injury crisis to occur
