Nah it was just a straight question of backwards compatibility asked from someone on Twitter. He was getting a bit of a grilling so I guess I can let him off. If it was to be the first Assassin's Creed it'd probably be fairly apologetically done because that game was pretty tough going, for all of its plus points (I don't mean with regards to how hard the game was) just it was layed out in a really stupid way.
I hated the first AC.
So much so that I haven't even bothered with the sequels.
The sequels are roughly a gabillion times better. Although you have to igore idiots with instruments rather than beggars.

It won't be very good.
A bit like The Chinese Democracy in that it should be the best thing ever given how long it took to make it.
