Sounds like it's going to be a handheld/console hybrid. Nintendo will always retain a strong following thanks to the quality of their first party games but they really need this to be a hit. It's a shame the Wii U fell off a cliff as soon as it did because it had so much more potential.

Interesting. Almost seems like the Wii U could have been a prototype for this.
I guess its success will depend on how much support they get from developers who want to create titles that can showcase the USP of the Switch.

Not sure if I mentioned this but at the tech conference I was at a couple of weeks ago which was definitely a very important work trip and in no way a jolly, they demoed a HoloLens in one session.
Pretty impressive. He was streaming what he was seeing on to the screen and showing how he could walk round a 3D hologram he'd put in the room earlier.
Would be awesome for some games.

Would definitely make my top ten of games i've played....immersive, lovely free roaming, great plot as well as great game...beautiful graphics
And even better the chance to do truly horrible things is unabated.......did you ever want to shoot a man in the foot whilst he is fleeing from cougars.....i lived that dream.
