Psp? That sounds horrible.
Psp? That sounds horrible.
I haven't played Football Manager on PSP, nor would I want to.
A game that's basically just a spreadsheet on such a small screen doesn't sound like much fun.
As of just a few hours ago, news has broken that THQ have filed for bankruptcy.
I think they might be regretting uDraw now.
Didn't uDraw initially do well on Wii? It was a decent fit with the expanded family audience that Nintendo's own games like Wii Sports/Fit tend to attract. It was always going to be a hard sell this late into a generation on consoles dominated by that male 18-34 demographic. THQ are an advertisement on how to basically ruin your company. Most of their success in the past came from wrestling games and film/TV tie-ins. Ever since they tried to compete with the big boys with stuff like Saint's Row, Darksiders and Homefront, they've gone rapidly downhill. Saint's Row has been a decent success for them, but obviously not big enough to offset their other failures and dwindling wrestling game sales.
The WCW/nWo were the only enjoyable wrestling games I've played. They published Conker's Bad Fur Day too when Nintendo bottled it. De Blob had an excellent soundtrack. They will be kind of missed.
uDraw didn't do well enough to cover the costs of producing it and obviously, that's never going to be a good sign.
Whoever picks up the WWE license will hopefully make a game with different mechanics than the same ones THQ used year-after-year. No Mercy was as good as it got for them.
There's some basic stuff here about it:

It actually did really well on Wii.
The hair-brained decision to release it on a completely different userbase and to release it in such huge quantities destroyed them.
1.4 million unsold .
Any decent Tennis games out?
Genuine top top top quality or Wenger version?
