But isn't that the exact point? On those places it IS a normal day. That doesn't mean it's ok, but it just becomes background noise. The reaction isn't to do with the skin colour of those affected - that is probably quite a mix. Well the more mercenaries Europe sends to the Middle East to rip the place up the more normal these days are going to become. That much must be obvious to anyone who doesn't write for the Daily Mail.
