I do find there is a massive hypocrisy that people at the top of the tree talk about the danger of the money in Chinese football
European leagues have had a hegemony for years on inflated wages and transfers, the Chinese have just taken it to the next level.
The financial bubble that permeates around football shows no sign of bursting any time soon, and the whole thing is obscene. But I see no reason whilst that's the case that Asia should not try and financially outmuscle the European leagues.
The one billion transfer fee and the one million a week player is just around the corner.

I can understand it if they were signing players in their prime, but so far the best they've done is Pelle, Hulk and a Tevez well past his prime.
