Shame, but hardly surprising. Strange for them to do it now though, after the not-exactly-horrific result to Sevilla.
A mix of players just not caring (the likes of Mahrez), players who were playing massively above their level (like Simpson) and players who put everything into last season and who have nothing left (like Morgan).
You can't blame him wanting to lead them into Europe, but it probably would have been better for him to retire there and then, standing with Bocelli.
Wonder who they'll get in. They'll need a strong personality to get a reaction from those players because they've completely checked out.
