This is typical of the fergie-a*se-licking sports media that they make it post-war to exclude Herbert Chapman and make sure fergucu*t wins again

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52371056

Why not just have done with it and have a vote on 'best manager called ferguc*nt ever'...?

    Oh give it a rest

Fergie is certainly the GOAT, but I think one could certainly argue that Chapman had a bigger influence on shaping and changing the game back in the day.

Heads up for anyone who was planning on going, tonight's PFA Awards has been cancelled.

So that gives the media a chance to guess at who would have won. They seem to be eyeing up Jordan Henderson for the big prize.

Young player of the year, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Manager of the year, Alex Ferguson.

    Team of the year:
    Allison
Robertson - van Dick - Soyuncu - Alexander Arnold
Henderson - De Brown - Grealish
    Mane - Salad - Vardy

Yeah, De Brown has been amazing but I guess you have to put him in there because he's drenched in so much media cum. Grealish because he'll probably move to Utd. Vardy because who knows?

Imaginary awards to go with the imaginary titles.

Seriously they let their plan slip later on in the piece when you see people are asked to vote for the 'best Britiah manager', no mention of 'post-war' but it means they can leave Chapman out

Ferguson was a nasty bully who manipulated everything and everyone in order to win, by any means and whatever the cost.

Wish we had someone like that managing us.

Tbf I don't think many people outside Arsenal (and Huddersfield) really know who he was.
And he died before much of our success in the 30s so he doesn't have the sack of trophies to his name that other managers have.
Unless you know your football history you're not going to know the way he shaped and changed the sport itself.
He was a great managers but he was much more than that too.

    Ligue 1 has been cancelled.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

well that's where i'm afraid i must disappoint you, they're just cancelling remaining fixtures, it's not the same as N&V:

"A meeting in May is expected to decide final places, and promotion and relegation"

Ah. Interesting. I think the only thing that makes any sense is points per game.
Our game in hand over Spurs was City away which I think we can all agree we'd definitely have won so that seems fair.
Must find that St Totteringham's Day bunting.
