Yes, that's sound a good idea. However, I'm not going to turn my nose up at those engaging in "conspicuous consumption" because we live in the system that demands such behaviour. This is why sometimes I find the Green Party's moralising over consumption a bit snobbish and off putting, because rather than chastise individuals they should look at the system that compels us to act in such a manner.

For years the underclasses were given everything they want for free, they'd become accustom to not working or paying for things and now they're getting slightly less they decided to cut out the middle man and just take what they want off the shelf, completely despicable.
