0929: BBC weather man Simon King says: "Worth noting the storm has been as bad as forecast. If warnings & precautions hadn't been made then things would have been much worse!"
Yes. The storm would have been much, much worse. If they hadn't have warned everyone to stay in bed asleep between 1am and 7am, then the storm would have decided to be much nastier.

There's more!!!!!
Shit!
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
Had to go get my dressing changed this morning. A tree had fallen across the path I had to go along and I had to pick my way through the branches (could have gone round the long way but I was running a bit late)
I'm the real victim here
I had to walk to work, when usually I would walk.
There were so many leaves and twigs about, that my shoes got mud on them.
I find this all so stressful.

Hadly any of my team got in today
To be fair I'm not sure it's them being pathetic but the train companies.
Yeah, there were no overground trains at all. I went to Arnos Grove and took a northbound train so that I could get on a train and then travelled into London. In a team of 19, it is only myself and one other that isn't 'working from home'.
Also, I'd have bet the house on who the other guy would be that made it in.

My back garden, not this time around, but the last time something vaguely similar to this happened.
You used to be everything to me
Now you're tired of fighting
The sun is shining now.
