Cancelled my sky subscription last year, I got a letter offering 50% off for 12 months, so I called them. Told them I wasn't really sure if I wanted it and they gave me 75% off for 12 months.

Fuck everyone seems to be able to get great deals but me. I've tried the 'call up and pretend to quit because I can't afford it' tactic. But they didn't offer me any discount at all. Might have to quit like you for a year. Tbh I don't even watch it match. Sports would be handy but the movie package is pointless for me.
I only cancelled in November.
