We have one on campus here. Absolutely wiped the floor with the league champions on it, after playing all the other games on molehill ridden pitches with willow trees overhanging one of the goals.

Sand astro is the absolute worst playing surface there is. Awful stuff. Whoever invented it should be killed.

Always stayed in your shoes for months as well. And it was horrible in the rain. Infact there was nothing good about it. Though the type with little rubbery black bits wasn't much better either.
You know what's worse?
