Buy in MK and rent it out.

Then carry on renting in London.

You may be paying a slight premium on rent for working in London, but you save on the commute, whilst investing in a future home.

MK is a pretty nice place actually, don't think I'd want to live that far out though.
In terms of time, when I used to go and stay at MrsL's before we were married I'd come straight in to work on a Monday morning and with a lift to the station it didn't take loads longer than my morning commute now from the edge of London.
Bloody expensive season ticket though, would be over £4000 a year.

I'm bloody lucky at the moment I reckon. Got the best of all worlds living and working where I am.

Affordable house just outside a "mini-London" in terms of house prices. 40 minute commute through nice country roads. Work in the middle of the countryside with deer roaming the office grounds.

And I'm still only 1hr from London by train.

I work near Victoria so it would be a simple commute. MK to Euston in 35mins, then another 10mins on the Victoria Line. At the moment I'm spending half n hour anyway coming from Perivale. I think my company can provide me with a season ticket, with a % coming out of my payslip every month.

It's another - what kind of world are we living in - moment:

A publicity stunt using the law like the cheap whore it is, or a stunning demonstration of how lost the law is? Either way the ass doesn't come out of it well. Lawyers - can't live with them, can't let them live. Still waiting for Blair to be convicted of war crimes and his own preposterous claims.

I really must sue Lynx - I've been using it for years and seen no noticable Lynx effect.

Make up your own jokes which should, for bonus points, include the word 'Letters'

Wonder what Letters will say when his child is tall...

Letters 'the man of their dreams' gives bride-to-be happy ending...

Letters book '...and other short stories' will be released later this year. Chapter 1- my stripper years.

The Mirror are really short on news items right now.

It's funny though, as Letters is a dwarf
