First thing I did when I bought my house was rip out all the carpet and fit wooden flooring.
We've got wooden flooring downstairs, carpets upstairs, and on the stairs.
They've done the stairs, landing and our bedroom today. They're doing the other two bedrooms tomorrow.
So this week is one big game of Furniture Tetris, moving everything from room to room
We're looking to move this year and the carpet is so tatty, we needed something #decent before we started showing people round.
I like our new fluffy carpets I do.
They're doing the rest today.
It's not the best carpet ever - we're looking to move so we're only replacing it because the old one was so tatty - but it's loads softer and nicer than the old rubbish we had.
