Facebook has been busy censoring all wrongspeak and wrongthought for a while now. So has Twitter and the champs of censorship down at Google. They can't win the argument so their next best option is to pretend the argument isn't happening.
Non-soy techies are busy at work on alternatives that can't be censored (not even by ISPs). Then the left will have to speak up on real issues or become permanently irrelevant. Making up new genders and sowing racism and sexism and every other form of division just won't cut it any more.
Facebook will also be realising its own "news" service soon
With "10 selected partners". I'll bet.
Facebook and Twitter are rotting out from the inside and it's not reversible unless there's a fundament shift in philosophy from the handlers with their arms up the likes of Gutterberg's arsehole. That's not happening, so permanent irrelevancy it is then.
