Not much of a tech geek but I’ve had an iPhone for years and couldn’t imagine ever using another phone now. I guess that’s the kind zombie Apple has produced but the phones have always been reliable and user friendly for me. So carry on with your evil ways and I’ll still keep buying.

That's the point, there were already MP3 players before ipod and there have and always will be better phones than iphone, they just captured people with smoothy white shiny toys

And their computers lack a lot of the in-depth functionality of a windows pc but hey who cares they're, like, so coooooool

Depends what you mean by "better". From what I understand other phones have features which Apple phones don't, but Apple phones are just generally more intuitive - I'm theoretically "in IT" and I struggle a bit with Android phones. Most people just want something they can just pick up and use and do the basics, that's where Apple seems to win.

If something works and is comfortable for you as the user, then as far as I’m concerned that makes it “better”, so to speak. Your average person isn’t really interested in all the bells and whistles that come with technological advances, just get what is right for yourself and your needs.

My dad is a dinosaur and I’m pretty sure he’d still be using a Nokia 3210 if he could.

My first smartphone was the iPhone 3Gs. It lasted for ages. Following that, I’ve been on a number of Android phones, always flagship models. They have varied in quality. I came back on to Apple with the iPhone 8 which I’ve had for almost three years.

I’ve found the iPhone to be easier to use as well as finding battery life much better meaning I’m replacing my phone less frequently. It is overpriced for the spec, but it becomes more economical because I’m replacing my phone less often.

After over 2.5 years use, I’m not even considering replacing my phone yet.
