Didn't know Coney's uncles were on GW.

Also, Diana Rigg was fantastic in pretty much everything she was in.

Special mention to Theatre Of Blood with Vincent Price, which is hilarious.

So weird. I flicked on the TV a couple of days ago and the first thing that came on was the Avengers. Haven't watched TV for months. Just turned it on while I was waiting for the coffee machine. Turned it off when the coffee was ready. In hindsight, that's probably what killed her.

Another weird thing I noticed. No posts about the trade deal with Japan. Considering Brexit was the end of the world, before Covid became an even bigger end to the world, I thought it might be a bit of relief that at least one end of the world scenario seems to have been overblown beyond all credulity. And, you never know, if predictable miracles can happen for one world ending crisis, maybe they can happen for another?

Yeah, I guess it's only the bad news that makes the news.

It relates to one of the continuity agreements. Based upon the agreement the EU made with Japan recently whilst we were part of the EU.

It’s good but not as good as the deal we were already party to whilst an EU member state.

And it accounts for 0.07% of our trade by value.

And yet, there was no possibility of trade agreements being struck in the short term. It was going to take at least a million years. The point here being, it is actually possible for an independent (sort of) nation to negotiate independent (sort of) trade deals. And also, of course, the other point, yet another fear-mongering plank splintered to pieces.

Perhaps, given all this covid absurdity, the Leave/ Remain split can be placed into some sort of perspective and we can move on now for the benefit of everyone. Or, you know what I mean by everyone. A few will benefit, and the rest of us might avoid being fucked quite so hard - as it was with our EU "partners".

No, of course I don't believe any of this is worth a shit for average people. But I do believe that halting the agenda of globalists is the better of two outcomes.
