Went to park run on Saturday, at the start they called out for anybody who knew any British Sign Language.

I ended up going up and meeting a deaf guy whose first time it was at Park run. Had a quick chat with him, introduced myself, ran with him for a bit to teach him the lay of the land.

Met up after the run, he came for coffee with me and the folks.

Turns out he's a teacher at the deaf school on the same campus as my secondary school, just moved down from Newcastle, where my uncle lives.

He taught me a few new signs, seemed like a lovely guy.

Was a lovely start to the weekend, pity arsenal had to go and spoil it all the next day.

Great. So you've finally understood it.
When it was announced that Wenger was leaving you were giddy with excitement, said we'd be mixing it with teams like Chelsea and Spurs in no time. And you said you expected a title challenge in 2 years.
The exact opposite happened. We have got significantly worse than we ever were under Wenger.
Now you're pretending that this is what you predicted all along because of the "Wenger effect". But you didn't, you predicted the exact opposite - immediate improvement.

And just to be clear, I'm not picking you up on being wrong. I was wrong too, I didn't think we'd end up being this shit.
I'm picking you up on being wrong and then saying "told you so" when you predicted the exact opposite of what has happened.


I honestly don't know how else to explain that this exchange is not about Wenger.
It's about you.

Or alternatively, you have eventually become embarrassed at the way you fawned over Wenger regardless of the creeping reality. So now you have to accuse others of your behaviour so you have a crowd to hide in? Hard to know how you can take the words in a post you actually linked to and reach the exact opposite conclusion which, coincidentally no doubt, then allows you to blame others for your own failings.

None of it upset me, it was pretty much gibberish.
But you have a couple of interesting abilities.
One is to predict one thing, see the exact opposite happen and then say "see, told ya so!".
And the second is to say quite a lot without actually saying anything. I guess it's a skill of sorts.
