Hard to believe that people who take private photos and then post them to the Internet get caught out like this, especially given the bulletproof security record of all the top companies when it comes to protecting data. To be fair, they weren't knowingly posting them to the Internet, The Fappening pictures are from the iCloud.
Most of the people involved probably didn't really understand what that is or that their photos were being automatically backed up there.
