Olivier's xmas twist

You can't say he's obsessed with the CL when his team don't ever look capable of winning it, someone obsessed with it would adapt his team especially for it....he just sends out his team ignores the opposition and tells them to "just play your game".
Yep because he in the 2nd leg agaisnt barca he told his team to do just that.. An fool can see His energy is more focused on the CL not the EPL, hence why he would rather finish 4th then win the CC. He wants to win the CL and no one can ever say he does not.

City had a team that looked capable of winning it but look what happend to them flopped at the 1st hurdle.

If he wanted too he could get a team thats capable of winning it, but they'd have no more chance of winning the thing then the current one do.

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that AC Milan will be too strong for Champions League opponents Arsenal.
The two teams were paired in the round of 16 draw on Friday.
““I am a Milanista through and through, so when I am cheering on my team, I find it difficult to be rational,” Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“In any case, I think Milan are superior to Arsenal. Massimiliano Allegri has great champions, as Arsenal don’t have anyone like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, nor Pato or Robinho.
“They do have Robin Van Persie, that is true, but we also have Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva. Milan are the favourites, but I won’t forget Arsenal knocked us out of the Champions League in 2008.
“Arsenal are a side who always try to play their football and move it around, as that is the philosophy of the club. In order to reach the quarter-finals, Milan have to ensure their greater individual technique makes the difference.
“Arsenal had a bad start and were hammered at Old Trafford by Manchester United, but they are back on track now. I follow Arsenal regularly and can confirm they play pretty well now.”

Carlo thinks Milan are much better than us. Think he is setting himself up for a fall here or is he right? I would have thought we were favourites to beat them tbh but maybe thats just me being optimistic.

He's full of priceless nuggets, is Carlo.

He can also 'confirm' we are playing pretty well now.

He knows his shit.

Well we shall see as I've said before the Italian league isn't as strong as the premiership so that will help us and I think we'll go through easier than we think.

Hi Daz, I'm relaxed about it. I think it is good we have a name like Milan coming to the Emirates. It makes the night bigger yet the opposition isn't particularly special in terms of talent. We stand a good chance of going through - moreso than last year because we are less likely to fall victim to phantom free kicks and a sending off once we get our noses in front.

I actually think the draw could have been worse for us we would have struggles in Russia (we always do) Milan will try and do the usual tricks like trying to get our players sent off but if we keep our heads we should win comfortably and think we will take at least a draw from the San Siro and a 2-0 win at Ashburton :)

Agree with all of that. In fact, looking at the draw permutations, there were few 'easy' options. Russia at the height of winter is not something I'd fancy.

And if we had drawn Basel we would probably have to be re-drawn anyway as it looks like Manure will be reinstated into the competition we know that FIFA/UEFA would rather they be in the tournament

No. What should happen, is that the team facing basel should be given a by. No way can utd come back into it. Cunts.

The Swiss FA won't give up crucial UEFA co-efficient points by fucking over Basel to support FC Sion. If they did, United would face Bayern and would get dicked on anyways.

Yes but we know that UEFA want MAnure back into the competition as its more money for them from gate receipts and sponsorship deals and yes you are right a bunch of cunts that make rules up as they go along :censored:
