As Flavs is deciding on a new phone it occured to me that it would be good to be able to use Goonersweb on a smart phone.
Can this be done on a normal smart phone using the normal site or would the site need to be changed?

*waits for GB to slap someone
Works quite nicely on my Samsung Omnia 7.
Android and iphone can use an app called Tapatalk.
I am on gw from my phone now. I believe GB has got gw compatible with Tapatalk which is quite good - but usable even without it.

I'm assuming John took the possibility of Flavs getting a phone into account when designing the site? If not, what a dumbass!
Actually vBulletin works quite well on decent - as in iPhone 4 - phones and is awesome (with an American accent) on the iPad.

I thought I got it compatible with Tapatalk... no-one remembers me! :(
But yes, GW is available via your normal web browser on your smart phones, but doesn't have a specific mobile site. Users of android/iPhone/blackberry can download the tapatalk application (approx £1.99 or something). I'm using tapatalk now, and there doesn't seem to be any issues!

If that's the sort of thing you like. But obviously get an iPhone if you want the real thing.

fanboys
If I'm talking to someone, and I need to check something on my phone, I don't say: "oh I'll check on my phone",
I say "I'll check on my iPhone"
It's because I want to make a point of letting someone know I have an iPhone.

People talking about clever products as if they were the inventor. :pal:
People with poncy phones - get the arseblog app (if you haven't already got it). Very slick.
