I'd definitely enjoy it if we won the FA Cup. The League Cup is a nice aside, and it was definitely sad to lose to those Brummie twats. But I could not be comfortable if the team was that far off the pace. It's a bit ridiculous and would not inspire hope for the future. With Liverpool it's compounded by the investment taken to get there. They possibly took their eye off the league after the Cardiff win and guaranteed Europa League, but it's clearly a team a long long way off being competitive every week, and that is a bad sign for the future, and would temper a cup double.

I did say I'd enjoy the FA Cup!

But you've still got to win that. If not...

Top keeping by Reina again for WBA's goal.

One of the best in the league, for sure.

I think a lot of fuss has been created about Ashley Young and Man Utd getting the rub of the green. And it helps that the game is at Man City's ground. I don't think a refereeing decision will decide the game in Man Utd's favour - they'll have to work for it, and I think they will.

Can't say the same for Barcelona V Chelsea tomorrow night. If the going gets tough, Barca will get an important dodgy decision in their favour.

Bolton win and Villa are only 3 points in front of the bottom 3

If Coyle plays his cards right, we might just see the best ever Vela that has played in The English Premier League.

Miyaichi got injured and substituted. Kevin davies on for him. Like-for-like.

2-1 then. Still one and a half mad result swings needed for us to even be in the bottom three, but sheesh almighty what a pathetic excuse for a season this has been,

Will Mcleish survive till August?

Rors
24-04-2012, 08:55 PM
I doubt even relegation would see him shifted. There's no way Randy would 'admit defeat' and sack him. He'll walk..or nothing.

My condolences :rose:

Saying that, is Lerner going to last long? He seems to be putting 50p in the meter every so often and that's it.

Actually, the gap is only 3 points. BBC's live table had it as six. I withdraw the "probably just safe" line...

It's not long since Lerner was seen as an example of a good solid long term investor, but now Villa are posting big financial losses whilst their squad's weakened and they slide down the table. Worrying times for you, Rors. I guess Villa fans were right to be so against the appointment of McLeish.

Villa.

Well in the dog fight now.

QPR and Wigan have a bit of momentum as well so there's every chance Villa could go down. It would be a bigger shock than Newcastle in 08/09 IMO.

Cripps_orig

Mcleish surely has to be one of the worst managers ever?

How the fuck we lost to him in the final of the CC, i'll never know

Sir Ches and Kos
