Neggie. It is funny as fuck from whichever angle I view it.

And to hear the squeals of anguish from most, and to see some of their plastic fans squirm, because for 1st time they all genuinely feel cheated, is just fucking priceless - devine retribution I'd say.

A taste of the bitter medicine premier leagues teams have had to suffer at that shithole OT for a good 20 years.

Not an ounce of sympathy here.

From what I saw yesterday, Ferguson did a pretty good job with them, they lost but they gave a superior Madrid side a game so I can't see them not winning the league especially with RVP in there.

Great to see them lose yesterday though, Mourinho does it again!

As Terry pointed out, United were actually really good. Real Madrid were not impressive at all over the two games. United were more penetrative every time they got the ball in the final third. RVC's little touches in key areas showed how good he is. His finishing seems to have deserted him though. Joker woz rite.

Fergie will use this to make sure they crush everyone in the League. They'll break some records. Welbeck will win a League medal.

Add to that, he'll have every FA ref and liny cueing up to suck on his balls.

Not one will try to cross him now for fear of being relegated to officiating league 2 games.

I expected them to be pumped, particularly in the first leg. I didn't think they had that sort of controlled European performance in them anymore.

Fergie is distraught (:haha:) because he knows he has a potentially great side this year.

Paddy Crerand, who played for Manchester United from 1963-1971, told BBC Radio Ulster: "Roy Keane was in a minority of one. Not one person said it was a red card except Roy. Does Roy want to be noticed?"Why are we talking about Roy Keane? Why do we not talk about the 99.9% of people who said it wasn't a sending off. Why are we talking about Roy Keane - because he played for Manchester United. Well, let me tell you something. I played with Manchester United, I played in a European Cup final, Roy didn't. The referee was wrong."

Irony. Inception level wumming there.

The sending off was harsh but his foot was very high and if you look at the laws the ref was within his rights to send him off. Real were controlling the game at the time though, after Man U scored they upped their game, though the sending off obviously made it easier for them. It still took a great strike from Modric to level it though, overall Madrid didn't play how they can though.

Ronaldo was off his game, at times it was almost as if he felt bad for playing against Man U. In addition Real had a perfectly good goal chalked off when the ref adjudged that Ramos fouled RVP in the box, it wasn't a foul.

A man has apologised to Nottinghamshire Police for calling 999 and asking for the referee at last night's Champions League clash to be arrested. The 18 year-old says he was caught up in the excitement following Nani's sending off.

Police have decided not to pursue action for wasting police time after the man realised his bad judgement and said he was sorry.

Flopped at 2 World Cups. Ok in 2006 he was young and a bit shit so you can excuse him for that but in 2010 where people were laughably calling him the best player in the world, he flopped spectacularly. Add that to constant no shows in the Copa America tournaments, I don't think anyone seriously has a reason to think he's the best other than their hatred for Ronaldo just cos he played for Man Utd. Ronaldo has done it at various stages. England, Spain, CL, Euros and he had a very good World Cup in 2006

I don't believe you have to win the World Cup to be the best player in the world but you need to perform in one. Ronaldo has. There really isn't any debate anymore tbh.

My instinct would be very likely. Vilanova supposedly specifically asked for him so perhaps he wouldn't want to lose face on him going after one season so maybe he'll be loaned out.

"Messi only needs half a yard". And he got that half a yard because of the speed of Iniesta's pass - he slammed it to Messi. If you're playing a possession game with passes to feet, you have to pass it basically shoot at your target player, that's the only way you can gain half a yard on the opposition. Rolling it around gets you nowhere.
