I had Sky Sports and Movies half price for 6 months for half price on a deal that ran out last week. So I cancelled it in time so I didn't pay full price. I also cancelled HD. This brought me back down to £24.50 per month.

I was on a forum on Digital Spy and a poster there was giving out Friends and Family discount codes that have to be used before the 28th. As I'd just come off a deal that ran out a couple of days ago, I figured I'd get rejected, but chanced my arm anyway. Now I have half prices Sports, Movies and ESPN for a year. Also, when I went to check my on-line account, there was an offer to upgrade to the HD package - free for 3 months along with £100 of M&S vouchers. So I've got that as well - the 2nd time in just over a year they have given me £100 of M&S vouchers for upgrading to HD.

Yeah. But it is worth it cancelling packages every once in a while, especially at the end of the season when there is little worth watching. Even if you don't get offered a deal at cancellation point, it won't be long until you are offered one.

yeah i canned sports after our last game of the season and they gave me movies and sports free for a year!

Think i pay £50 a month with phone and broadband as well

I left sky after 3-4 year with them. Few months later they offered me the whole package for £24.50 on rolling basis. :coffee:
