All WUMing aside, fixtures like this is where RVP was priceless last year, he would score from nothing. It will take time to adjust because we were so reliant him.

Gervinho can't do anything one dimensional and does the same sort of dribbling all the time.

We need to spend that £40m coming in on good players, our bench is shit.

True, but like you say it will take time for the new boys to adjust.

Cazorla was very good, other new boys however lacked a little bit of sharpness....

That £40m needs to be spent badly, Wenger is such a twat saying that our midfield is filled with 'top players' on all those Song articles

Gervinho worst player on the pitch.

Cazorla looked excellent, shame not a lot of other players were at his level today.

No he wasn't, I can see the Gervinho scapegoat wagon is already start to load up

A clean sheet is important, not sure about Ramsey coming on, Podolski coming off or Arshavin coming on...Should have played all 3 new boys together.

Spot on. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise had we won he have come out with his BS as usual about how we look good don't need no quality etc, now not even he can be this deluded (says it with loose lips)

Don't really care about Liverpool to be honest, but 0-0 at home to team who are average and have signed noone of note this summer is poor whatever way you look at it.

Sorry no excuses from now on, had 7 years of them now, it's last chance saloon for at least the 3rd time.

From what I heard he was a threat whenever he had the ball...

His end product is still inconsistent, but he was one of the only ones trying to make something happen all match. In fact I think he was the best player on the pitch today.

If he wasnt the worst then name who. The guy is a muppet, always makes the wrong pass. If he sees a clump of defenders he runs right into them instead of into space.

Sunderland are not a bad team not in the slightest they had a plan and it worked for them, we were never going to come out all guns blazing or win 4-0 after the last week.

Were not going to win the league this season anyways yes its dissapointing but not the worse thing in the world. we could have played them in to weeks and still drawn.

I agree money needs to be spent now.

Only Play that was good was Santi the rest were as bad as each other no need to single one player out when you never rated him in the 1st place easy to make him a scape goat.

Next to Cazorla he was the only one, who looked like he could open them up. Yes his end product is still shaky, but today, every time he beat his man, and got into the box, there were 5/6/7 Blue shirts, and about 2 Red. Sunderland did a good parking the bus.

We deffo need another midfielder, and Poldolski looked lost. And even with miss, Giroud looks better playing the lead striker than Podolski.

What wrong passes, he was beating his man on almost every run, what the fuck is he suppose to do, when every time he gets in the box there are 5/6 Sunderland guys in the box, and only 2 players there, who are not in great position.

Like I said, this just reeks off, the usual say he's shit, because everyone else is, and looking at his performance with any type of context at all.

Positives :
clean sheet
Carzola looking good
defence a little bit organised
Boys willing to shoot from distance
Negatives :
0-0 at home against an average side .
Gervinho and walnut wasteful and clueless in the flanks .
Main striker not being supplied enough balls .

Not very good result at all . We have been good if it was against one of the '' top four ''
Not encouraging really . some work still to be done .

It's well and good to say they were wasteful, what options did they have, what players were making good runs, when thos had the ball.

It's easy to say they are wasteful, but when there isn't much to work with, there's only so much you can do. And the two fullbacks didn't offer anything going forward, no strong over lapping runs, nothing to help the wide players in the attack.

Against teams that are gonna park the bus, I would much rather have Santos, than Gibbs out there.
