A fire broke out earlier in the kitchen of Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said about 20 firefighters had been sent to the stadium in Highbury, north London, at 02:15 BST.
The blaze was brought under control in about an hour. Two security guards were treated for smoke inhalation.
"Even though a couple of them [firefighters] are Spurs fans, they all worked really hard to bring the fire under control," LFB said.
The security guards, who were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, tried to put out the fire but called for help after they failed to control the blaze.
LFB's watch manager Surjit Singh, from Kentish Town fire station, said: "Firefighters were on the scene within minutes of being called... they managed to prevent it from affecting other parts of the stadium."
