Southampton have mustered their first shots on goal though Daniel Fox and Jason Puncheon, but Spurs still carry the real glint of danger when they attack. Quick feet from Aaron Lennon attract all the defenders' attention and Kyle Walker is in glorious isolation when Lennon's reverse ball finds him. The England full-back's shot crunches into the hoardings from a good position.

Are you serious? A flicking arsenal forum and we're watching our lot struggle to score one day and our biggest rivals scoring using our player the next? And that's not worthy of a discussion? What exactly are you trying to run here, some sort of library referencing system? And then the old chestnut, don't like it fuck off. Followed by laments of this place having no members. It's true though NQ, you hate being asked anything that anybody else would consider reasonable - I don't say that to anybody else because nobody else is always so deliberately obtuse, not even those you might expect. You honestly think talking about Arsenal issues in Arsenal debate is a rule I just created off my own back?

What I would like people to do is actually talk about other teams, not another discussion where nobody says anything new about Arsenal's board/manager do something silly. Arsenal debate takes care of itself, Arsenal debate extra isn't what we really want.

I do agree with you to an extent. The contact isn't enough to bring him down but the fact that players go down after any contact is as much the fault of referees as the players. Not because they can't recognise dives. But because - if the player stays on his feet after being fouled - they hardly ever get the decision. The act of going down seems to be necessary in confirming the decision.
