In all seriousness, the guy is 37. I can't see anyone in the Premier League wanting him.

Allardyce will have him any day. Though I doubt he will want to play there

He'll go to Oz to raise the profile of the league over there. Purely a marketing signing.

I'm surprised if he's going to bother with another contract. The move to the US signified the end of his footballing ambitions - it was all about becoming the biggest celebrity he could be. The best way to boost his profile now is to come back with some sort of role on TV (in the UK). But it's hard to find something to fit his image. He's above strictly come dancing or an x-factor judge, and the Gary Linekar type thing will be too uncool for him. To start with, he needs his own show that portrays him as some sort of philanthropist and then he can go from there. A Jamie Oliver style of thing.

I think the guy genuinely loves Football and wants to prolong that for a while yet. Of course he's more of a celebrity now so he'll go somewhere where he can get the best of both worlds.

Cheeky swap for Rosicky?

One is worn and old, the other is just old.

'Beckham's Football Nightmares' tbh

David is a professional celebrity charged with turning around failing football clubs.

This week, He's in North London, talking to manager Andre about his failed methods.

Crooknapp the manager is more worthwhile than Beckham the football player.

there should only be one player signed from the MLS other then Henry, for the pure and simple reason that he is Henry.

or investing money, heading onto the pitch pre match to lap it up and getting pelters from the glasgow lot. THAT would make it worthwhile.

Excellent player still.

Would do a job in our midfield and far better than Arteta
