Reid might've had a chance to equalise, had his back to goal though so it wasn't simple if he did.

Torres.

Spurns a good counter-attack. Ramires leading the athlete ball charge.

There are those that still believe we will always have our chance in the 2nd half because the oppostion will tire. But that's not the case when we play at 2mph. Which is why most teams are happy to let us have the ball.

From a GIF from a terrible angle, it barely looked a foul nevermind a red

Aye, didn't seem as though Cisse was going towards goal nor had control of the ball.

Premier League.

Caldwell booked. What a thug. He is suspended for the game against QPR.

Beausejour was booked earlier too.

Argh the numbers are back!

The numbers are apparently our invidual sky card digits, but scrambled up.

They're doing this to identify anyone illegally streaming their service.

It doesn't stop anybody sticking a card over the top of the screen though really.

He's from Burundi, apparently. The first player from there to score in the Premier League

*not racist
The Premier League isn't racist? Thanks for the clarification I'm sure the GW lawyers approve of this statement.

Cisse hasn't been very good.

Can anyone explain to me why I don't really rate Ba?

I can't put my finger on why or offer any logical reason for it, and with every goal he scores it sounds more ridiculous, but I just don't think he's that good.

You're racist. Or it's just that he doesn't actually score that many goals.

Also, 3-0 FT.

I've hidden it well. :ninja:

Really though I was trying to argue why we shouldn't buy Ba and then couldn't really figure out why I don't think he's very good, especially when compared to the number of goals the rest of the team scores.

Ooh, consistency over a full season....

Don't think he is Liverpool special if you know what i mean. He is good for Newcastle/Spuds and maybe us, but you boys are used to that special player for that special night.

his finishing is the best part of his game and he does hold the ball up quite well too. he has nothing 'outstanding' about him in terms of movement, speed or overall ability which is why he may not catch your belief in him.

like giroud he's a 3/4 choice at a club challenging for honours and when you compare him to your suarez's or aguero's then of course they are top bracket players that energise any team they play. ba understands the english game very well and fits the newcastle approach to a tee but the natural comparisons with others will never be favourable for him.
