He has been part of a hereditary stewardship of the club, both his father and grandfather have been chairmen of the club. Begs the question, who would you make chairman of the club if the old blue blood does step down?

It's worry and I know PHW is pretty clueless but how many people left do we have up top that have a long history with the club and know a bit more about football than Stan and Ivan? We're getting raped badly now but when he's gone and we're left with Stan, the trousers will probably come off, they'll pull out the vasaline and then really start working us over.

And everyone lambasted him, when he said he did not want Stans sort at the club. I agree as much as a pain he is he has links to this club. The next chairman will probs be one if stans Yankey mates.

He might be a familial hereditary chairman but he hasn't had much tangible ownership of the club for years and years (0.8 % I think). We abandoned 'tradition' a long time ago too.

We're talking about a different species when it comes to creatures like PHW. They organise their lives around the exploitation of human beings. Because they have the capacity to mimic human behaviour they often get mistaken for humans themselves and of course genuine human beings will ultimately offer them compassion as a result of the confusion. But it's like throwing a torch into a cosmic black hole and expecting there to be light.

suppose you are given 2 options

1. hill wood dies and dein takes his place. we end up winning the fa cup and finish 3rd this season. next season we win the league after investing heavily in the squad over summer

or

2. hill wood makes a full recovery, stays on the board and we continue the way we are for the next 5 years winning zilch and getting linched for all our money

what would people take? and be completely honest.

Would you have engaged in the shooting of millions of Germans during the war? Or would it have been been preferable to kill a handful of your own generals and trust the Germans to kill theirs? Don't confuse pest control with humanitarianism. Sometimes it is a failure to act that makes us inhumane.
