Has to be Gervinho for me.
In Fever Pitch Hornby names and shames Ian Ure but that's a bit before my time.

Ramsey on recent form runs him close but Gervinho edges it for me. Especially for this:

Gervais. A horrible excuse of a player. No technique, strength or any of the attributes you'd want.

Hope Ivory Coast win the ACON.

Yeah, Ramsey has been pretty awful of late but Gervinho offers nothing, absolutely nothing.
There was one Southampton attack quite late in the game where one of their players ran past him like he wasn't there and he just stood there.
Complete passenger.

Must Get Rid.

Alidere, Justin Hoyte, Silvestre, many others I can't think off.

Gervhinio..no contest.
Squilachi, Silvestre, Chamack, Park all follow closely behind.

Shocking we spent money on the above players (fee or wages)

Silvestre.

Every time he played it was an absolute disaster that not only had a ripple effect on the midfield and forward line, the crowd could also be seen to lose strength and basic cognitive ability.

But Gervinho just turned in a circle and fell over really slowly today.

Okay, Gervinho it is.

I remember the day Silvester scored against Wigan, all the players thought it was one hilarious joke and we completely stopped playing football, which allowed Wigan to come back and win 3-2, ending our title challenge.

Close between Silvestre and Cygan.

I've finally decided on Silvestre.

To be fair to Silvestre, he was an agent sent by Fergie.

In recent years,.I'd have said Stepanovs, until he got usurped by a significant proportion of the current side. But as bad as Ramsey is, any hope I had today was well and truly obliterated when I saw Gervinho come on. He is head and shoulders, the worst and most pointless player during my time supporting this club.

You know you're in bother when Gervinho comes on as an 'impact sub'

75' - Arsenal pushing for the winner. Can the fresh legs of Gervinho and Ramsey make the difference? 1-1. #SFCvAFC :haha:

Gus Ceaser back in the day. In recent times, I would say Igor Stepanovs.

For all Gervinho's shitness, he's scored a decent amount of goals, and some assists, so I can't put him in that list.

To single out Gervinho would be unfair for the sake of his brazilian name . A squad of Almunia , Justin Hoyte , Silvestre , Cygan , Stepanov , Eboue , Senderos , Gervinho , Denilson ,Baptista and Aliediere would be hard to beat and you can't tell who is the " star" of the team .

Cygan was fine. Not great but certainly not in worst Arsenal player ever category.

Stepanovs on the other hand is a good shout.

Gervinho, hands down. A terribly pointless player.I seriously hope Wenger isn't allowed to buy another player in the few months he'll remain as manager.

Gervinho has had some good performances so I can't put him in the list. On form he'd make a better winger than Podolski.

Worst player...Chamakh, Denilson, Ramsey, Hoyte, Silvestre hard to single out the worst.

It is fair to say we've had our fair share of shite CB's down the years
Gus Caesar
Squid
Senderos (whenever he played Drogba)
Stepanovs
Sivestre
All worthy contenders for the worst player award.
Denilson, Chamack and Gerv in recent times moving our shitness further forward on the pitch. In Gerv's defence, he has played a couple of decent games though they seem a long time ago now.
For me, for all round consistent shitness, Squid gets my vote

Is Gervinho the son of Glen Helder? We do not like to speculate.

Wouldn't put Eboue on that list either, nor Denilson too.

Gervinho IMO is a good player. What he needs is a coach who will bitch slap his black ass. A good coach who will encourage him to shoot, cross the ball and be more fearless can make him into a good player. AW probably tells him to keep doing the same thing over and over again, just like his failed methods.

Is he the worst player I have ever seen at Arsenal? Hell no.. Cygan was horrible, Sylvester was a clown, Ramsey is worse than an Indian shitter, Almunia played for the other team etc

I thought you would remind me of Chamakh to complete the list ?
Eboue and Denilson definitely qualify to play for that " team" . They can't miss out .

Stepanovs probably tops my list. For all of Ramsey's shitness, I give little bit allowance for the fact Wenger doesn't have a clue that he is not a wide player but continues to play him there. Gervinho is proper cack though.

Im sure there are worse players ive seen in the 90s who played a game here or there but im going to go for players who have played a fair amount of games for us

Bendtner, Arteta, Diaby, Gervinho, Koscielny have all been shocking

Its a tough one but Gerv wins it for me

I've always held an irrational dislike of David Hillier.

According to Wiki: 142 appearances, 2 goals.

He now works as a fireman in the Bristol area.

For me it has to be Gus Caeser, jesus he makes our current CB's look like the best in the business.

Gervinho is rubbish, but come on guys...we've had a lot worse than him.

There are different levels of shitness. You can be a Denilson where no one realises you're even on the pitch because you do nothing of note, or be a Gervais where almost everything you do ends in a predictable calamity. Down to what irks you more.

Evidently a trick question as Chamakh is the worst player ever to play for Arsenal. He's also the biggest waste of money in football history, including Veron.

Gervinho is just a frustrating player because he has the ability to do great things, but just seems to get Brain Bubbles in good positions and flounces about like a zebra having a stroke.

Ramsey for me is unable to make coherent passes consistently, cannot tackle, cannot track back, cannot run, cannot cross, cannot interlink...or do anything that is required of a footballer.

In between those shots, Aaron Ramsey screamed for a penalty when he fell as he passed Dwight Tiendalli, although replays suggested the Welshman tripped over his own feet.
