I can't be the only person who - after watching that Jeremy Kyle vid that GP posted - thinks the father did quite well against Jeremy Kyle. Kyle seemed like the bigger twat. I'm not too interested in the burning down of the house and all that, it's obviously pretty grim stuff. But the way the newspapers, Jeremy Kyle, the crowd...everyone...were having a go at the seemingly happy 'family' for basically polygamy. Where's all this outrage against the scores of muslim families that have the same deal? Why isn't Jeremy Kyle calling those men 'sexist' as well? There's obviously no fuss because they're scared of being called racists and ignorant of different beliefs. What about these guys' beliefs?

Either effectively having two wives and a bunch of kids is fair game or it isn't. Not that I'd want it myself but I'm fine with the idea of it as long as everyone's happy. Whether kids grow up with a mum and a dad, two mums and a dad, two dads, two mums...it's all good as long as they make sure the kids have a good childhood. Obviously it didn't work out this time because the dad ended up being little bit psychopath.

Give a TV audience the chance to do their reality mob thing and they'll burn a witch every time. It's demeaning for all concerned, including the viewer. A slice of America here in the UK, how did we ever get along without it?

Do you think what is 'natural', i.e. occurs in nature, is a good benchmark for human behaviour?

Admittedly I don't lick my balls in public mostly because I physically can't, but I don't think the fact that dogs do makes it fair game.

Well, if you're getting in on the act of derailing your own thread...

I wasn't talking about what happens in public. Whatever decision people make regarding their own private lives, be it having a polyamourous relationship or whatever, is fine. I wouldn't want to be in one, but if somebody does, then meh. WFYB.

Regarding the 'natural' side of things, the word 'unnatural' is an incorrect concept. Humans, and anything we do, are a part of nature which, to quote a great man, encompasses all of existence. Anything that happens within that frame is, by definition, natural.

Cameron the whore has been ordered by his masters to steal from the poor and give to the rich. In typical fashion he's using division to force this injustice through, turning those that have against those that do not. The idea is that anyone who has been fucked over by criminal banks and associated corporations is an immoral sponger or a filthy foreigner here to steal from privileged white people. Of course the Daily Hitler is leading the charge as usual (even outstripping the Sun) and stories like this (which in no way represents even a tiny fraction of the population) are being trumpeted to demonstrate just how awful the poor really are.

Or for the even shorter version: Tories are being Tories.

Scum rat bastard arse gaping queer whore boy Osborne cashing in on this big time. Hopefully he dies before he kills too many old people, robs too many working people or deprives too many young people.

This philpott **** killed six kids. Tragic of course and he's been punished. Shame the death pen has been abolished.

But what about Cameron and Osborne? How many kids ave they slaughtered? Many, many, all so their paymasters can run drugs. Where's the justice when it comes to these sub human bastards?

Are you going to now defend what Osborn came out with, suggesting that the horrific case of child killer Mick Philpott strengthened the case for further reforms of the welfare system?

Do you not think that is fucking sick?

Are you referring to the mysterious case of opium production in Afghanistan being at an all time high since the "liberators" went into to "destroy" what had already been mostly destroyed, or are you referring to the way Cameron and Osborne sat on their hands while the war criminal Blair lied the nation into wars with Afghanistan and Iraq? Even the rabid warmongers accept 100K+ men women and children were slaughtered in those wars. Institutions with less vested interests put the numbers at 1M+. Millions more made into refugees. Or was all that Mick whatshisname's fault too?

The killing of six kids for personal gain is foul in the extreme. The way we ignore the killing of kids further away is just as foul and just as extreme.

LOL, seriously though.

The script here is everyone who gets any form of assistance from the state is scum. Circumstances should not be considered, stereotyping is all that's required. So on that basis, the royal leeches, the banksters, the corporations on huge state handouts - we're all in this together aren't we? Dave said so. Let's use the same paint brush then.

Logic doesn't apply when the revolution comes.

Royal welfare is now a matter of logic? The royal argument is anything but logical, it's a preposterous reinforcement of the trickle down theory whereby the activities of the super wealthy (supposedly by default) filter down to those who generate the useful goods and services in our economy. And of course there isn't a single shred of evidence, here or in any other country outside South America, to demonstrate this benevolent flow. In fact all the evidence clearly shows the wealth gap growing at an ever accelerating rate. The only logic that can truly be applied is the conclusion the more you give to the super wealthy the less everyone else has, the opposite of Letter's apology.

Even then you could just say that's always the way it has been. Not true in detail but as a general principle accurate enough. Better then if the recipients of the largest welfare cheques of all (by several magnitudes) did not make claims they were toughing out recession with the rest of us. And better still if the Daily Mail would be content with facilitating the robbery of the poor for the benefit of the super rich without vilifying the victims in the process. It may be the cherry on their icing on their cake, the final humiliation of the vanquished, but it's not strictly necessary.
